ATS Armor LLC Receives Notice of Compliance with NIJ Standard 0101.06 for Type III Hard Armor Plate

ATS Armor LLC (wholly owned subsidiary of Achilles Technology Solutions LLC), a global designer and manufacturer of advanced, lightweight hard body armor, received a Notice of Compliance with NIJ Standard 0101.06 for Type III Hard Body Armor Model 30103 and is listed on the NIJ Compliant Products List available at www.justnet.org/CTP. "The ATS Armor Model 30103 Type III Hard Body Armor torso plate incorporates our patent pending QuadCurve™ design. The shooter's cut and four curves maximize surface area contact on the wear side, allowing for maximum comfort with added safety and our one plate design fits comfortably in either the front or back. The Model 30103 Type III hard armor rifle plate is multi hit and tested as stand-alone, which offers the versatility to use the plate in conjunction with soft armor, or in a stand-alone configuration in a plate carrying vest. Dual usage of this plate makes it ideal for military personnel, tactical and first responder officers, or any public safety personnel," stated Thomas Smith, CEO of ATS, LLC. Further Mr. Smith continued "We are pleased to receive our Notice of Compliance with the NIJ Standard-0101.06," "Our EDMASM process, coupled with our goal of producing the best hard body armor plates in the world, has now produced one of the lightest NIJ compliant stand-alone Level III plates on the market today." "All ATS Armor hard body armor plates have been designed and manufactured to meet or exceed U.S. Military and NIJ performance standards. At ATS Armor, we design our plates through a rigorous scientific approach. We refer to this approach as "EDMA℠", Electronic Design Mechanical Analysis. Partnered with some of the leading minds in material analysis and structural design, ATS Armor models ballistic protection through testing and simulation from the onset of design. The use of EDMA℠ allows efficiencies in both research and development and yields successfully tailored ballistic designs on virtually the first attempt. EDMASM, coupled with our unique QuadCurve™ design, has enabled ATS Armor to apply for several US Patents" continued Mr. Smith
