Brian T. Beckwith
 

Brian T. Beckwith is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps, past vice president for TASER International, Inc., president of BTB Enterprises, LLC, and past product development manager and consultant for Check-6 International, Inc.

Lt. Col. Beckwith served honorably for 20 years in the Marine Corps and is a combat-decorated Naval aviator. He amassed more than 2,500 mishap-free flight hours in the F/A-18 Hornet and the A-6E Intruder, and his assignments included global operations while serving in multiple leadership and staff capacities.

Upon retirement in 2007, Brian became a product development manager for TASER International. Within an 18-month span, he led development teams that brought to market four separate product initiatives: the TASER Shockwave; XREP (eXtended Range Electronic Projectile); X-12 12 ga. shotgun, co-developed with Mossberg Inc.; and the CDPM (Controlled Digital Power Magazine).

Promoted to vice president at TASER, Brian served as the sales lead for the TASER AXON and Evidence.com systems. He developed a national sales team to support the launch of this product and set conditions for the future success of the product.

Brian’s last assignment at TASER was as vice president for product management. He had sole responsibility for all fielded Electronic Control Devices (ECD), which constituted more than 90% of the company’s annual gross revenue. While serving in this capacity, Brian also brought to market the Wildlife TASER ECD and developed an accessory device for the TASER X2.

In April of 2012, Brian embarked upon an entrepreneurial career of his own. He is president of his own consulting company and became involved with various startup product initiatives. Through this endeavor, Brian joined Check-6 International, where he served as consultant and product development manager. In this capacity, he helped develop and implement the company’s first product development division, bringing two service products to the oil and gas industry within eight months.

In December of 2012, Mr. Beckwith became a co-founder and managing member of Achilles Technology Solutions, LLC, and in January of 2015, he co-founded ATS Armor, LLC.

Brian holds a BS degree in marketing from the University of Arizona and an MMS degree from the United States Marine Corps Command and General Staff College.
